Believe it or not, Puppuccino is a fancy word made by Starbucks describing a cup of whipped cream. So, if you order a Puppuccino for your dog, you will get a small cup of whipped cream. There isn't anything else in it – just whipped cream. This is made specifically for our four-legged best friends. Great marketing trick – isn't it?

How to order it?

When you find yourself in the drive-thru of a Starbuck with your dog, just easily say to the barista that you want one Puppuccino or a Pup cup, and they will know what to do. Is that simple.

Is this safe for dogs to consume?

There are no correct answers to this question because all dogs are different. As you may know, whipped cream is a dairy product, and since dogs don't have the enzyme needed to break down and digest dairy, your dog may or may not experience problems.

Most dogs could easily eat Puppuccino and will be alright without any problems, but be prepared if you are giving your dog Puppuccino for the first time as he may be lactose intolerant, and your dog could experience diarrhea and vomiting.

Can I make Puppuccino at home?

Since Puppuccino is just a plain whipped cream, you can make it at home. When you make whipped cream for yourself, in most cases, you will add some vanilla and sugar. In this case, you will have to drop these ingredients.

All you'll need is heavy cream or store-bought whipped cream. If your dog loves it, ensure you only feed him with Puppuccino in moderation. Moderation is vital for dogs when it comes to treats to have a good and balanced diet and remain healthy.
