The longhaired Pyrenean Sheepdog is a medium dog breed originating from France, mostly used for herding purposes. There are two variants of Pyrenean Sheepdogs: longhaired and smooth-faced. These dogs need to have a job to do if you want them to be happy.

Longhaired Pyrenean Sheepdogs have a wavy and harsh coat that requires proper caring. Regular brushing is required to keep the coat free of mats and to keep the dog look good.
