Our breeding farm arose and evolved in full compliance with the rules that regulate animal care in breeding farms, but it also goes forward, proposing and embracing the psychophysical wellness idea of dogs and other animals that share space with it, like alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens. Our breeding farm is an unique project of innovative and professional idea, but closely connected with tradition, nature, and territory. Our breeding farm distances itself from detached intensive breeding, distinguishing and qualifying itself as extensive biological breeding farm, producing shortlisted dogs. We actively participate to the conservation of rare Italian canine working breeds and specifically anti-wolf guard dogs, both in Italy and foreign countries. Abruzzese Maremma Shepherd is one of the breeds we raise in our breeding farm. Its region of origin is Abruzzo and it is the indisputable King among the Italian guard sheepdog breeds. Extraordinarily strong, rustic and courageous, it’s an ideal dog for multiple uses. Over time the selection has made it more domesticated and less intolerant towards strangers. It has become a great family dog, unfortunately at the expense of its watchdog talent. However, we work with success in the selection of working lines on flocks.
