Saint Miguel Cattle Dog is a molosser-type dog originating from Portugal. These dogs were helping farmers to protect their livestock and to keep them in line. These dogs are sturdy and powerful with a large head and brindle coat. Saint Miguel Cattle Dog creates strong bonds with its owner.
These dogs love to have a job to do, so in cases, they are not working, they will pick up the role of watch and guard dog. They are very protective of their family and especially kids.
