About Bonnie For adoption

Hello! My name is Bonnie. I am a 7 year old Staffy x Lurcher. I originally came to the Sanctuary when a change in my previous owners working hours meant that they could no longer keep me. I was adopted early December 2018 but sadly have returned due to not settling in the home. I was living with other dogs and sadly couldn't cope with so much going on. I can be quite nervous and shy at first, but once I know you I am a very sweet and friendly girl. I am so loving and gentle and am a sensitive soul as I do suffer with separation anxiety, so my new owner/s would need to be at home for most of the day. I love people and I just want to be with them all of the time and snuggle with them. My favourite thing to do is cuddle on the sofa! Any new owner/s will need to be aware that it may take time for me to adjust to life in a new home, and would need to be able to offer me time and patience whilst getting to know my new family and routine. I am not really coping very well here at the kennels, and would love nothing more than a quiet and settled home of my own. I love going out for my walks and mooching around the field. I even take a cuddly toy on my walks! I would need to be the only pet in the home so I can have all the attention to myself, which my carers say I more than deserve. I know my basics when it comes to training, but am willing to learn more. Unfortunately I could not live with young children or cats due to my lively behaviour, but could possibly live with teenage children that are used to dogs. If you think you could offer me my forever home, then please come and meet me. I am fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and worm/flea treated up to date. I am also housetrained.
