The Bohemian Shepherd Dog (Chodský pes) is medium size intelligent, energetic, lively and athletic dog breed. They are very protective of their family but generally, they are not aggressive. It is an excellent family dog that goes well with other dogs and pets if raised together. He has long fur with rich undercoat to protect them from harsh weather in their native land. They have a great sense of smell and are mostly used as search and rescue dogs in the Czech Republic.
