Grooming

Bohemian Wirehaired Pointing Griffon has a medium-long and wiry coat like many griffon dogs have. They have a double coat with a soft inner layer and a harsh and wiry outer coat. As with all double-coat dogs, Český Fousek is no different and you will have to brush them weekly to keep the hair under control. During shedding seasons, daily brushing is advised to remove dead hair and to keep the dog looking good.

• Dark roan with or without brown patches
• Brow with ticked markings
• Brown without any marking

You will also have to check their ears regularly for any signs of infections (bad odor, redness, etc.). You can wipe their ears with a cotton ball dipped into an ear cleaner.
