The Rough Collie, also known as the Long-Haired Collie is a long-coated dog breed of medium to large size. Its original form was a type of collie used and bred primarily for herding in Scotland. It was first bred around 1800s and today it is mostly known through the Albert Payson Terhune art and through the Lassie novel, movies, and television shows.
