Shih Tzu

A Shih Tzu, also known as the Chrysanthemum Dog, is a toy dog breed developed for royalty in China during the Ming Dynasty. The breeds name means ˝little lion˝ comes from thought that he originated in Tibet, bred by Tibetan monks to be a tiny replica of a lion. The Shih Tzu's origins are ancient and recent study revealed that the Shih Tzu is one of the 14 oldest dog breeds. Historically, the purpose of the Shih Tzu was to be a companion and that is the only thing he wants to be.
